American Idol contestant, Jax, actually wore #TheDress onstage at The Filmore in Detroit, Mich. for the Top 8 Girls night – the one that almost “broke the internet” last week.
The internet was divided between seeing blue and black and white and gold, and Jax, 18, furthered the debate.
Host Ryan Seacrest admitted he was even more “confused” now after seeing the dress in person.
"I see blue and black," he said about her standing in front of him, but he hold up his iPhone and admitted, "In this, I see white and gold. I'm totally confused,” People reports.
He took that confusion to Instagram, posting a side-by-side photo of Jax wearing the dress and the dress hanging on the hanger.
“Even with @jax wearing the actual dress I still see white/gold in the pic #idolmotown,” he wrote.
No matter what color you see, Jax wearing the dress is a good move on her part. She has set herself apart from the rest of the contestants and we’re now talking about her, even if it’s not about her voice.
