Dancing with the Stars celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and will be back in March, ABC said today.
The network announced that DWTS Season 20 will feature an entirely new cast of celebrities, who will learn how to dance and compete for the mirror ball trophy. Tom Bergeron will be back to co-host with sports broadcaster Erin Andrews.
The season will start on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. with a two-hour episode. Competitors will be announced at a later date.
Rob Wade, Ashley Edens-Shaffer and Joe Sungkur are the executive producers on DWTS.
We do know that Derek Hough will not be among the professional dancers this season. He is leaving to participate in the New York Spring Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall.
Bergeron’s other show, America’s Funniest Home Videos, has continued to survive, even in the age of on-demand funny videos on YouTube. The show is celebrating its 25th anniversary this season. It returns on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m.
