11. Eva Longoria
Born in 1975 to Ella Eva (Mireles) and Enrique Longoria Jr. in Corpus Christi, Eva is the youngest of four sisters. She grew up on a ranch near Corpus Christi, Texas.
Longoria attended Texas A&M University –Kingsville where she received a degree in kinesiology.
After college, she moved to Los Angeles because she had entered a talent contest; it was here an agent signed her.
Eva co-starred in Beverly Hills 90210 in the role of Isabella on the classic series (1990).
The role that she became well known for was Gabrielle Solis on Desperate Housewives (2004).
She received her master's degree in Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge, in May 2013, following three years of study. This was the same year Longoria began directing for TV shows.
The Eva Longoria Foundation, the charity which she founded, helps Latinas build a better life for themselves and their families.
