9. "Rollin’ in the Deep" (2014)
Franklin covered this Adele classic in her recent album Great Diva Classics. It’s a great rendition, since "Rolling in the Deep" already shares so many similarities with Aretha’s sound. A throbbing bass, lyrics with sharp anger and heartbreak, and a chorus that soars. This song was all but made for Franklin’s voice, and with the medley of "Ain’t No Mountain High Enough" at the end, it’s incredible.
