'Pyramid' - Another 10 great wins

The $100,000 Pyramid

Can You Seem a Bit More Excited Please?

Get ready for the crème de la crème of Pyramid wins as the next three clips all feature $100,000 tournament winners from 1980s edition of The $100,000 Pyramid. Let's begin with Mr. I Want To Look Like Burt Reynolds. Okay, maybe that wasn't this contestant's intention, but with that full head of hair and that distinctive '80s mustache, doesn't he resemble Burt Reynolds a little?

Shelly Smith is not a name many people might recognize now, but back in the '80s, she was known as one of the best Pyramid celebrity guests. Her soothing voice and her natural ability to always play the game brilliantly were a deadly Pyramid combination for any celebrity or contestant that had to compete against her. However, when paired on the same team as Shelley, there was a good chance of making it to the Winner's Circle and winning some money because she was that good.

Here's an instance where Shelley Smith certainly won a contestant some money, but it's too bad the contestant didn't seem excited after realizing he won the $100,000! Of course, that's only a joke, especially since he grabs Shelly and gives her a big bear hug followed by him joyfully hugging his family members. Between the serious look on his face while he said the word "no" a few times after correctly guessing "Things That Are Warped" and Shelley Smith jumping up and down like a twelve-year-old, this Pyramid win certainly goes down as being a memorable one.
