Bringing Down the House (2003)
Queen Latifah and LL Cool J have done plenty of rom-coms, but this one, with Steve Martin, truly is the movie worth seeing. Peter (Martin) is a divorced work-a-holic who gives online dating a try only to end up with convicted felon Charlene (Latifah) on his doorstep. She needs him to overturn her conviction and in the process helps him relax and get to know his kids. Add Eugene Levy (American Pie) to the mix and the excitement never ends!
