1. One Punch Man

One Punch Man.

So, it goes like this, Saitama is a regular guy who is a “superhero for fun” and he eliminates every demon-like, oversized, alien-god level enemy in one-punch. He’s NEVER lost a battle, ever.

When season 1 of One Punch Man appeared in Japan in October 2015, fans quickly became huge fans. In fact, Adult Swim’s Toonami and eventually Netflix picked up the series.

Saitama acquired these powers by simply training for three years and he went bald in the process—now, he looks like Caillou when he would wear his cape, but like an adult version that can incinerate any being with a jab to the jaw.

He also has a Robin to his Batman with the 19-year-old cyborg, Genos. Who is super cool and would be the coolest hero on the show if not for being the disciple to the man who is as powerful as Saitama.

Saitama never receives any real credit for his supernatural deeds, in fact, in the final episode of season 1,  he battled the “Dominator of the Universe, Boros, who led an alien invasion which forced all of the top heroes to align to stop.

But while everyone fought outside the invading ship, Saitama went aboard and took out everyone, including Boros, who Saitama said was the toughest match for him. Still, he was able to take it up a notch with a powerful knuckle sandwich that shattered Boros and saved the world in the process.

Season 2 has been much anticipated, and it’s expected to release sometime later this summer/fall to Viz Media—Season 1 is available on Netflix and Hulu.
