5. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

Boruto has been going on since April 2017 on TV Tokyo, but its beginning to hit its stride now as the main storyline has caught up to the Boruto movies.

The series follows the new-aged ninja in a time after the Fourth Great Ninja War. Boruto is the son of the now, seventh Hokage Naruto and there’s some serious foreshadowing from the beginning, involving the mysterious Kawaki, who seems poised to be another adversary responsible for producing a dark cloud over the shinobi world.

This series has finally reached Naruto-levels of pure “oh my gahhhhh” content. High-intensity combat, jutsu and the plot is thickening with the arrival of the Otsutsuki Clan.
