10 Awesome films that were filmed in Detroit

7. Don’t Breathe

Some of the most effective horror films are those set in a single location, forcing the audience to get to know and dread a certain area. Don’t Breathe embodies that idea to its fullest. Set in the house a blind army vet who isn’t exactly what he seems and is living in a desolate, ghost-town of a neighborhood, director Fede Alvarez (2013’s Evil Dead) delivers some of his best work yet. Just don't ask us about that turkey baster scene. We don't want to talk about it.
