8: When Maggie’s dad comes to Alex and Maggie’s bridal shower in "Far From the Tree" (S3E3)
Remember that called-off wedding we mentioned? Before it was called off, Alex convinces fiance Maggie to invite her dad to their bridal shower. This event revealed a lot about Maggie’s past and the fact that her parents did not take it well when they found out she was gay. We find out that he is still not okay with Maggie being a lesbian, something Alex never knew. This was one of the best moments of Season 3 because Maggie makes it clear that she has a family who cares about her, and that’s Alex! #TrueLove
