When your role is thin on paper, but you make that up with acting at 120 percent. Cate Blanchett truly does justice to the role of Hela. Her character did leave an impression. Neither we nor Thor has ever encountered a baddie, who is powerful enough to crumble Mjolnir into pieces! But unlike Loki, she is one Asgardian one would love to hate.
But if you come to think of it, in a way it is Odin’s fault that Hela, who was once her executioner turned out to be a villain. It was only when she got overly ambitious that she was imprisoned. However, her motivation to rule was quite strong, raw and justifiable. And anyone who got in her way (mainly Thor) paid a heavy price (With his eye and Mjolnir).
