7. Aldrich Killian A.K.A The Mandarin (Iron Man 3)
Iron Man 3’s true villain was actually Aldrich Killian AKA the Mandarin, played by Guy Pearce. Initially, the Mandarin was faked by Trevor Slattery played by Ben Kingsley who, though faked it well, was equally clueless about why he did what he did. But it was indeed delightful to watch his villainous persona of the Mandarin which satirizes every evil scary voice any movie baddie has ever had.
Killian reminds me of a baddie from the '90s except that he breathes fire. He came back to seek revenge for being snubbed by Stark in his younger self-indulgent times. He turned himself into a living weapon capable of slicing through most of Iron Man’s suits with bare hands like a hot knife slicing through butter. It was only in the final bits of the movie we got to see some action between him and Iron Man and have to say, it was more than enough for me to make it up for faking it all through the movie. He was one villain who could truly go toe-to-toe with Stark.
