8. Ego (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2)
Ego is a mass murderer. But he is also Peter Quill’s father. As much as we love seeing him and Peter making up for all the lost time and rekindling their relationship, and, of course, Kurt Russell’s rugged charm, Ego is one of the most powerful villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He indeed is quite similar to the Mad Titan Thanos in a way. Except the fact that he is actually a god, encompassing an entire planet and someone with the ability to manifest himself on anything and anyone in a way he wishes. He is also quite manipulative which could’ve made him a good businessman as he sold his story so well that it made people understand where he comes from.
