ABC Studios and ABC Signature Studios brought back Roseanne and American Idol this season and plan to be no less daring for the 2018-2019 season.
Coming back next season are American Housewife, black-ish, Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder, For The People, Station 19, The Good Doctor, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Speechless.
Joining the ABC lineup are new dramas A Million Little Things, Grand Hotel, The Fix and comedy, The Kids Are Alright.
New joint ventures include The Rookie, a co-production with Entertainment One (eOne), and Take Two, a co-production with Tandem Productions, Single Parents, which is a co-production with 20th Century Fox Television, and Schooled, a co-production with Sony Television.
Over on Freeform, from ABC Signature Studios we get a new half-hour multicamera comedy, Besties.
These projects join returning series SMILF for Showtime; grown-ish for Freeform; and Marvel’s Runaways for Hulu, a co-production with Marvel Television.
What may be more exciting than the shows themselves are the stars. Brad Garrett joins Single Parents, Nathan Fillion stars in The Rookie, Robin Tunney (The Mentalist) comes to The Fix and Scott Foley is back with Whiskey Cavalier.
