9.  The birth of Janine’s daughter

Giving birth to a healthy baby is supposed to be a happy occasion, but in episode two "Birth Day," the experience was anything but. Nothing about this ceremony was normal.  The wives all dressed in blue and pretended to go through a faux birth, while the real mom-to-be was doing all of the work knowing that she'd have to give the baby up.  After the ceremony where the wife pretended to give birth herself, she took the baby as her prize and left Janine.  A little while later, Janine now employed as a wet nurse, bonded with the baby and told her about her older brother, hopeful that there would be a happily-ever-after.
