On August 25, 2017, Lady Gaga, while on her Joanne World Tour, was the first woman performer to smash a hit concert at Chicago’s Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs.
For, 12 years the stadium had all-male headliners for live musical acts, including Pearl Jam, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and Green Day, without a single female performer making that list until Lady Gaga showed up, according to Consequence of Sound.
Not only is she a performer of historic musical influence, she actually made history in being a first to break a gender barrier by her appearance at Wrigley Field.
