Luke Perry was born in Mansfield, Ohio, on October 11, 1966.
He gained fame for being in Beverly Hills, 90210 as Dylan Mckay from 1990 to 2000 for 199 episodes alongside Shannen Doherty, Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth.
The show was based on the growing pains experienced from teenage years to adulthood, set in the edgy and rich lifestyle that is Beverly Hills. It was nominated for four Golden Globes and was an intensely popular, must-watch show throughout the '90s.
Since then he has made a variety of TV appearances like Jerimiah from 2002 to 2004, Will and Grace, Windfall and John from Cincinnati.
His latest role is Fred Andrews, Archie's father on The CW's drama Riverdale (2016-2018).
