14. Dean Martin
Born Dion Paul Crocetti in Steubenville, Ohio, on June 7, 1917, Martin first got into movies with classics such as At War with the Army (1950), The Young Lions (1958), Some Came Running in the same year, the original Ocean's 11 in 1960 as Sam Harmon and Bells are Ringing in 1960.
He also hosted The Dean Martin Show from 1965 to 1973, which won a Golden Globe its first year.
In 1973 he renamed it The Dean Martin Comedy Hour, and from 1974 to 1984 it was The Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts which roasted notables of the time like Frank Sinatra, Phyllis Diller and Joe Nameth.
Dean Martin's show was one of the most successful TV shows ever.
