British-born chef April Bloomfield has brought a refined touch to traditional bar food. Her lamb burger from her restaurant The Breslin is one of the best things to eat the world has ever known.

Broomfield has also dominated Iron Chef America, claiming victory over Michael Symon.
She has published two cookbooks A Girl and Her Pig and A Girl and Her Greens.
However, we must share that there is a bit of controversy surrounding April Broomfield. Last year, her business partner Ken Friedman was accused of sexual harassment and resigned from management duties of their restaurant group. The details on who knew what are pretty spotty, but she did issue an apology. Her food is terrific and we hope for the best.
