Lidia Giuliana Matticchio Bastianich is known for her Italian specialties and owns several Italian restaurants across the U.S. with her family including Felidia, Del Posto, Esca, and Becco in NYC; Lidia's Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and Lidia's Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri to name but a few.

She has been filming cooking shows since the late 1990s and returned to Public Television in 2016 with Lidia’s Kitchen. She has authored more than a dozen cookbooks and continues to inspire chefs and foodies everywhere. In fact her newest book, a memoir entitled My American Dream comes out on April 3.
