2. Robot & Frank
At number 2 is 2012’s Robot & Frank. The film takes place in the near future, with aging thief Frank living alone, and causing his son to buy him a domestic robot to assist in his care. Frank, not a fan of change or technological advances, detests the robot. However, he soon becomes fond of him and considers him not only a friend, but a protégé and accomplice.
