Tessa Netting got her start as a musical theatre actress after moving to New York City shortly before her senior year of high school.
At the age of 17, she was in the original cast of Billy Elliot in the role of Susan Walker, for over 1,000 performances.
She has also performed with the theatre company StarKid and with the Tin Can Brothers comedy group in Spies Are Forever; her character was Barbara Larvernor.
Even before her recent success, she was singing musical theatre songs and dancing at her mother’s dance studio.
