1. Blue Valentine (2010)
The movie is called Blue Valentine. Of course it’s going to be sad af. Even still, we didn’t expect this one to hit us quite this hard. In fact, it’s hard not to watch this one and wonder what it means for you and any relationships you have — it hits THAT close to home. Great filmmaking and everything, but just be ready for an emotional rollercoaster of misery and sadness.
