3. Dragon Ball Z
First in Japan 1989 and then the US in 1996, this portion of the series, Dragon Ball Z follows the events after Dragon Ball. Goku has grown up and had a son when the infamous eye of Freeza looks to planet Earth to conquer it. As the series progresses, Goku goes from a super strong human (to the best of his knowledge) to the revelation that he is a saiyen, the species supposedly wiped out by Freeza. Goku goes from Earth to the planet Namik where Freeza plans to use the planets Dragon Balls to achieve immortality. The final fight from start to finish with Freeza will give you shivers and electrify your senses, while always making you ask your self, when will the super saiyen appear?
