2. Nirvana Unplugged in New York
Nirvana gives one of the best performances of their career in MTV's Unplugged from 1993. In particular, the tracks "Man Who Sold the World (David Bowie)" and "Where Did You Sleep Last Night?" became iconic even after all these years. The stage was decorated like a funeral, at Cobain's request, complete with candles and white lilies, a haunting precursor of what was yet to come.
