6. No room for favoritism in the judges
We can talk about how unbiased judges are supposed to be. But, there will always be a little favoritism in everyone. Deep, deep down we’re all rooting for someone. In curling, however, there is no room for judge’s favoritism.
In curling, the score is based on where the stones land in the house. No matter how much a judge wants a team to win, they can’t move the stone with their mind. There is no way around deducting points and there are no fouls to ignore.
