With the Black American voter turn out, along with every one else during both of President Barrack Obama's capaigns in 2008 and 2012 you would think Martin Luther King Jr. would have gotten essential voter turnout, since younger liberal whites would have voted for him and he would have picked up votes traditional candidates couldn't touch. This was the strategy when Obama ran, and if say MLK Jr. ran in the eighties, who knows how big of an impact himself and other leaders would have on American society by then. Still Racism was prevelant and extremely dangerous back then and MLK would likely have had to campaign harder.
