Equally as heart-wrenching as it is funny, The Big Sick is sure to become one of your favorite RomComs. Written by and starring Kumail Nanjiani, this film is about Kumail, a mediocre stand-up comedian, and his relationship with Emily (Zoe Kazan). After Emily slips into a coma, Kumail develops a bond with her parents (Ray Roman and Holly Hunter). The New York Times describes it as " A joyous, generous-hearted romantic comedy that, even as it veers into difficult terrain, insists that we just need to keep on laughing."
