6. Mother!
Is this really a horror movie? We really don’t know. The trailers would make you think it is, at least, even though there’s so much more going on under the surface in Mother! However, you feel about some of the subject matter, Mother! embodies Darren Aronofksy’s directorial vision to the fullest — meaning it’s weird, disturbing and really, really well made.
