6. Lou Solverson (Season 1 & 2)
One of the only characters in Fargo lore to be portrayed by two different actors, Lou, played by Keith Carradine, served as a supporting character in the first season. It was in the second season, however, when Fargo went back to 1979 and tell Lou’s, now played by Patrick Wilson, full story. Being an honorable State Trooper who’s simply trying to do the right thing, Lou has one of the biggest hearts on the entire show. Plus, Lou is one of the more Minnesotan names we’ve heard.
