No, putting Three Billboards on this list is NOT a cop-out — considering Rockwell is one of the best parts of the movie. We’ve mentioned how strong of a range Rockwell has already, but that’s never been more abundantly clear than in Three Billboards. He plays a disgusting low-life cop who is openly racist, only then to transform into something else entirely. It’s a well-written character with an incredible performance to boot.
