1. Seven Psychopaths (2012)
I mean, how could this not be our number one pick? Seven Psychopaths, which is directed by Three Billboards helmer Martin McDonagh, is a tale of pure insanity. Rockwell, Colin Farrell, Woody Harrelson, Michael Stuhlbarg and Christopher Walken all play psychopaths who are hell-bent on getting their hands on a tiny, innocent Shih Tzu. The movie turns left when you think it’s going to turn right, bobs when you expect it to weave and winds up taking you in places you would never have expected. It’s a preposterous, imaginative ride, and Sam Rockwell is there to guide us every step of the way.
