If it weren’t for the credits, they might have fooled us that we were watching the real Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour. Turns out it’s just Gary Oldman under all kinds of makeup. That doesn’t hinder the performance itself, either, as Oldman is still just as magnificent as he’s always been.
