8. While You Were Sleeping (1995) — Dec. 1
A romantic comedy that pretty much embodies the ‘90s in every way, While You Were Sleeping stars Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman in the main leads. Is the idea of a stranger trying to get another stranger to fall in love with them while in a coma just a tad bit ridiculous? Maybe. Do we care? Not in the slightest. It’s a warm, funny movie that’s perfect to watch around Christmas time. At the very least, watch it for the scene where the guy falls on his bike.
