Rose McGowan
McGowan has been one of the most vocal victims since the Weinstein claims came to light. Having appeared in the Weinstein Company’s Scream films, Weinstein allegedly paid McGowan a $100,000 settlement for an undisclosed incident that took place in a hotel room in 1997. McGowan is reporting that this incident was rape, which Weinstein initially denied. McGowan tweeted:
1) @jeffbezos I told the head of your studio that HW raped me. Over & over I said it. He said it hadn’t been proven. I said I was the proof.
