Mel B's estranged husband, who she says physically and sexually abused her, has responded to her divorce filing and is seeking spousal support from the star.
After news broke earlier this week that the America's Got Talent judge, whose full name is Melanie Brown, was granted a restraining order following her bombshell abuse claims against Stephen Belafonte, he is now requesting spousal support.

In court documents obtained by ET, Belafonte is also asking for joint legal custody of the former couple's 5-year-old daughter, Madison.
As we reported, Mel got the restraining order after she alleged that Belafonte beat her on several occasions, forced her to have threesomes and got their nanny pregnant before making her have abortion. Belafonte was ordered by a judge to move out of their home on Monday, April 3 and not have any contact with Mel or Madison until their next court hearing on April 24.
Through his attorneys, Belafonte has denied the allegations and called them nothing more than a "spear campaign."
