'KUWTK' ratings continue to plummet, family fears show may be canceled

Apparently not too many people are Keeping Up With the Kardashians anymore

It's no secret that ratings for the series have been declining for quite some time and now the famous family is worried the show on their beloved E! network could actually get canceled.

Yes, the days of KUWTK seem to be numbered as the Karadashian-Jenner clan have pulled out all the stops and used every trick in the book over the years to get viewers to tune in, but they are just not watching anymore.

Radar Online noted that the April 2 episode titled "Kim's Last-Ditch Effort," was all about the 36-year-old wanting to have a third child despite doctor's orders that it could put her life in danger. But even with such serious subject matter, people did not tune in and the ratings for a show that used to attract 3 million viewers an episode had only 1.16 million.

“The show is getting less and less popular,” an insider complained. “This is really scary because Kris and Kim and everyone have done as much as they could to drum up publicity for the show.”

Moreover, even the show's big season 13 premiere that dealt with the terrifying robbery that Kim said took place in Paris last October, couldn't drum up a good amount of viewers.

“That was the big episode,” the source said. “Nothing else they’ve got could probably top that.”

So what's the reasoning for the sharp drop in ratings? Perhaps it is because their fans see and hear about what's going on with them all the time in the Kardashian-soaked media that they don't feel the need to tune in to their show anymore. Or could it be that some people are just tired of the family's "created stories" that are merely a plot for the show?

Whatever the reason, things are not looking good for the future of KUWTK  especially if the ratings continue to fall.

Do you think the show will be canceled?
