Alec Baldwin had to relive the infamous voicemail he left his daughter, Ireland Baldwin, back in 2007 over and over. His daughter was only 11 years old at the time and the actor cannot escape the cruel words he said to her even now.
In a recent interview with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America, the actor explained how the incident completely shattered their relationship.
"It's thrown in your face every day," Baldwin shared.
Although they joke about the voicemail now, Baldwin called her a "rude, thoughtless, little pig."
According to People, he had told her that she needed her "ass straightened out" and that she had "humiliated [him] for the last time."

Despite the efforts Baldwin has put in to mending his relationship with Ireland, he explained how people still recall the incident to this day. In fact, Baldwin shared that it hurts Ireland more than anything to be reminded of this painfully humiliating event.
"There are people who admonish me," he continued, "Or attack me and use that as a constant spearhead to do that."
He compared the pain Ireland felt to a scab that never healed. Moreover, the pain never ceased because other people constantly pulled its strings.
Baldwin opened up about the incident even further in his memoir, Nevertheless, which is to be released Tuesday, April 4.
