4. The Mourners for Hannah whom we don’t know

For much of the story, there was a shrine outside of Hannah’s locker.  People cared that a classmate killed herself.  Some of them may never have met her and still mourn the loss. Olivia Baker mentioned that these kids must not have known Hannah as Hannah hated roses, but that doesn’t really matter.  Some of these kids who weren’t at all involved may have seen her to be a beautiful, well-liked girl and they can’t understand why she was so unhappy.  Some may think that her being voted girl with the best ass in the sophomore class was a good thing, with no negative repercussions. There is a lot of talk about a season two, and while it doesn’t seem to make sense, some people will want some closure or are curious to know what happens next.  If that is the case, perhaps they should have a student who didn’t know Hannah Baker, but will never forget her.
