6. Wilco- “Dawned on Me”
The 2011 music video is unique in being the first hand-drawn Popeye cartoon made in a quarter century. The video shows the band, Wilco, playing on a shipping dock while familiar Popeye characters dance to the music and ultimately run through their wacky character gags. It is a unique take on a music video as it borrows from a classic Saturday morning cartoon.
