17. Tabula Rasa (Season 6, Episode 8)
In an attempt to hide from responsibility, Willow uses a spell to make Tara and Buffy forget some things. Of course, this causes a huge problem instead. The spell backfires and the entire ensemble forgets their identities. Now, Anya thinks she is engaged to Giles, Buffy wants to be called Joan and Spike thinks he is Giles’ son and named Randy.
In one of the most ridiculous episodes of the series, one can’t help but lose themselves in the great acting, the clever dialogue and the hilarious jokes. That is, until the clouds sneak up at the end and the episode ultimately foreshadows the darkness that is soon to come.
