11. The Prom (Season 3, Episode 20)
After Buffy is dumped by the love of her life, Angel, just before her senior prom, she still manages to save the day and show up to the dance alone. While this is an episode that most teenagers can relate to, the most outstanding moment is when Johnathan presents Buffy with an unexpected gift. The episode is heartfelt because it shows that Buffy’s efforts as the slayer have not gone unnoticed and she gets to experience a truly perfect high school moment.
