6. Meredith Grey
What?! The title character doesn't crack the top 5?! Please, don't act like you're surprised. Meredith has been a lot to handle for 13 seasons. Sometimes she's great, yes. But other times she's whiny and self-centered, and makes us wonder why the entire show revolves around her. Still, we love her anyway.
