GASP! Elena not in the top 5?! Of course not! The truth is, if we hadn't had a two-season break from the brunette beauty, she'd probably be dead last. The constant damsel in distress didn't exactly do anything wrong, but the six-season theme of everyone constantly putting their lives on the line for her? So annoying! Not to mention that iconic, yet messed up, love triangle. All that aside, the show absolutely revolves around her and we could not be more excited for her return.
