This Daniel Day-Lewis and Emma Thompson film surrounds the 15-year Belfast prison stay of Lewis' Gerry Conlon as he tries to clear his name from a conviction for IRA bombings. The film was nominated for seven Academy Awards. It's worth noting that although Daniel Day-Lewis is British, he holds dual citizenship in England and Ireland.
