Quidditch to Pyramid, 13 fictional sports played in real life

1. Quidditch

In the Harry Potter book and movie series, Harry is a seeker on his house’s Quidditch team. Since the game uses high amounts of magic, it cannot be played exactly right in real life. However, that has not stopped Quidditch leagues from popping up all over the world. Universities and high schools have their own Quidditch teams and many countries have national teams. There is even an official world cup. In real life, the game is played with the same rules as in the book, only on the ground. Players run around with a broom between their legs and try to score points without being knocked off their brooms by an opponent. It is a mix of flag-football and dodgeball. For the snitch, an impartial player runs around the field and tries not to be caught by the two seekers.
