Captain Swan

One of the more popular ships on Once Upon a Time, Captain Swan, has had many memorable kisses over the last couple of seasons, but some were more emotionally charged than others. Overlooking their make out session at the beginning of season six, there are three scenes that stand out above the rest.

During the first half of season four, Rumple takes Hook’s heart to help him gain his freedom from the dagger. Thanks to Belle’s intervention at the last minute, Hook’s heart is saved, and Emma gets the honor of returning it to his chest. It is an act that she performs rather roughly and he expresses his love and gratitude in equal measure.

Goodbye

Of course the only reason our team of heroes travels to the underworld to begin with is to rescue Hook from an ultimately pointless sacrifice. Despite all their efforts, Hook could not be brought back to the world of the living. His and Emma’s goodbye in the underworld is heartbreaking to say the least.

Interesting fact: the hand holding as the elevator rises was an impromptu gesture by Colin O’Donoghue that he thought would add emotion to the scene. Good job, O’Donoghue, mission accomplished!

Hello, again

After Hook helps defeat Hades, Zeus decides to reward him. As Zeus walks Hook into the light, he tells Hook he is sending him where he belongs. The next thing we know, Hook’s walking across the graveyard to be reunited with Emma. I guess that’s where he belonged, and when Emma sees him, she showers him with kisses.
