After talking to people associated with the original trial, including a co-worker of Gordon’s and his lawyer, Loretta has Pride over at her place. He is there to protect her and keep an eye on her. As they are talking, he spots Gordon standing outside her window and leaves on the pretense of putting blankets on the couch. Instead, he heads outside to arrest him.
