After a three week wait, we finally got to the end of the mole storyline on NCIS: Los Angeles this week. The team worked hard to find Kensi, who was still being held at an unknown location thanks to CIA Officer Ferris. Deeks is understandably angry and trying to hold it together, which is tough when he has no idea what is happening to his girlfriend and partner.
Meanwhile, Hetty tries to get information from Sabatino, who claims that he had always been trying to work on who the CIA was going after. However, it is hard to believe him considering they don’t know who to trust.
Then when Callen’s ex-girlfriend, Joelle, becomes involves things get even more complicated. Just when we thought things couldn’t get worse, Granger’s life is threatened and someone steps in to aid the team when they need it most.
Hetty had called on retired Admiral A.J. Chegwidden, a well known figure from JAG for assistance, making for a funny first interaction between himself and Eric.
While we’re happy to see the mole storyline come to an end, there is sure to be fallout from the events of the case. In addition, this also marks the final appearance of Miguel Ferrer as Owen Granger. There is no new episode until Mar. 5 but until then, check out the top ten moments from “Payback.”
