7. Socialize with other fit people
Having a support group is great and very beneficial for starting a new habit. But who you hang out with are more than a support group. Your friends influence your eating habits and your activities. If you are always with people who eat at McDonald's and watch TV then you’re more likely to eat fast food and sit around as well. Encourage your friends to get fit with you. Try cooking fresh meals and going for group bike rides. Make new friends by talking to the people at your gym and joining fitness classes.
